Ultramarine patrol is from Juan Mieza of Spain. He says he thinks it
represents a standard patrol for marine players and I'm inclined to
agree. LOOK & LEARN!

Basically, I
use a tactical squad mounted in a rhino, with one marine less in order
to transport the commander with the unit in a rhino.
The squad is fitted for fire attack (that's why the only wargear I give
the sergeant is an auspex, with also fits with the idea of a small
reconnaisance patrol). The rhino has smoke launchers for extended
durability.
The commander is equipped for close combat support. That's why he wears
a master crafted weapon (the sword), frag and krak grenades
With all the team mounted in a rhino, the patrol is completed with a
land speeder. Basically, the LS scouts ahead of the troops and then they
can come into the fray where required.
