This is the most frequently asked question so far...

I have something in my army list that I think I can use to my advantage when it comes to making the bottle roll. Can I use it? Avoid making the test? Avoid losing the game? etc

Now look you lot...

The purpose of the Bottle roll is to finish the game in under 40 minutes. EVERY ARMY HAS TO TAKE BOTTLE TESTS!

YES even those that wouldn't normally, for what ever reason, have to take the test to finish the damn game and get a winner. Stop trying to avoid it! Some armies might get to re-roll a failed psychology test. That's Fine! But every one can loose a BOTTLE ROLL and subsequently the game. Don't try to justify your not taking the test with something out of your codex 'My patrol is not subject to psychology' 'My patrol would go into a frenzy and continue to fight' 'My patrol would not dishonour themselves by falling back' etc etc AND STOP TAKING CHARACTERS WHO MAKE YOU IMMUNE TO PSYCHOLOGY OR SIMILAR, NO TAU ETHEREAL WOULD BE ON PATROL, alright?

As you can tell I feel strongly about this one. I'm cool with re-rolls going with the second result, but on the whole anything else is just a 'beardie' attempt to avoid loosing. Loosing is all part of playing games. My overriding principle is play within the SPIRIT OF THE GAME. That sometimes involves loosing.
